Four renames. Eight months. Not one of them involved asking anyone actually working on the project. Each new name just arrived, fully formed, from somewhere above, and we found out along with everyone else.
Every rename came with the full ceremonial package too. A new logo, a fresh Slack channel, an announcement post. Meanwhile the actual work underneath stayed completely identical through all four versions.
At this point we've stopped updating our own internal documentation entirely. Why bother, when the name hasn't held still long enough to be worth writing down. Still hasn't stabilized. We're just waiting for rename number five at this point.
