Down bad on sol, but my portfolio app has a “hide balance” feature and that’s basically therapy at this point Down bad enough on SOL that the "hide balance" toggle has genuinely become part of my daily routine. One tap and the big red number disappears. Everything underneath is still exactly as broken as before, but somehow my brain calms down for about thirty seconds. Not fixing anything. Not even pretending to fix anything. Just really good at not looking at it anymore.

Bought bnb after a “guaranteed airdrop” tip, airdrop didn’t happen, coin dropped 30%, tipster blocked me on instagram Bought BNB off an Instagram "guaranteed airdrop" tip from some random finance page. Airdrop never happened, obviously. Coin dropped 30%, and the guy who called it "easiest money you'll ever make" blocked me before I could even ask what went wrong. Honestly the block was probably the only accurate signal in this whole thing. Arrived right on time even.

Convinced my wife crypto is “just like sip but faster,” she’s since started managing our joint account without me Told my wife crypto was basically "SIP but faster." She didn't really buy the pitch. She did notice all the charts and buzzwords with zero actual risk management behind any of it, though, and has since quietly taken over managing our joint account without me involved at all. Honestly, if the roles were reversed, I'd have done the exact same thing.

Borrowed against my lic policy to buy the “next bitcoin” my cousin’s college friend was hyping in a telegram group Took a loan against my LIC policy because my cousin's college friend swore he had the "next Bitcoin." Credentials were basically "trust me, bro." Coin's down 96% now. Loan interest still shows up every single month like clockwork. The guy who sold me the idea has either deleted his account completely or found enlightenment somewhere without wifi. Only thing that actually compounded the way it was supposed to was the interest on that loan.
