I almost ghosted someone amazing She replied to my message while I was going through an incredibly stressful week at work. I kept thinking I'd respond later, but later turned into almost ten days. When I finally apologized, I expected her to ignore me. Instead, she said she'd almost unmatched because she assumed I wasn't interested. We met a week later and talked about communication instead of pretending nothing had happened. We studied in the same school but never spoke She was two years senior to me, and I used to see her every morning during assembly. Back then, speaking to seniors felt impossible, so we never exchanged a single word. Years later we matched on Tinder. It felt strange introducing ourselves because technically we already knew each other's faces. Most of our conversation turned into remembering teachers, school trips, and the canteen that everyone complained about. We didn't end up dating, but it was nice finally having the conversation we never had during school.
