The personal call: a delivery guy, lost, unable to locate our building gate. Four minutes of "the blue one, no the other blue one, yes near the tree" while my manager assumed I was handling some private emergency.

Meanwhile the client meeting just rolled on without me. Continued perfectly fine. Nobody paused, nobody waited, nobody circled back with "and what do you think?"

Which means both absences went unnoticed. My food guy couldn't find me. My meeting didn't miss me. I was, for four minutes, completely irrelevant on two fronts at once. Humbling, honestly.
