We broke up and still shared a college project

My girlfriend and I ended our relationship in the middle of a semester.

Unfortunately, we were partners on a major project worth thirty percent of our grade.

For two months, we had to meet, work, and present together while barely speaking about anything personal. We got the highest grade in class. Our relationship failed, but our PowerPoint was excellent.
