In my early 20s, my friends and I constantly talked about travelling together. The problem was always money. Someone had an internship, someone was preparing for exams and someone simply couldn't afford flights or hotels.
Now we're all in our 30s and most of us earn enough. The problem is time. One friend has a baby, another can't get leave, someone is caring for parents and another lives abroad. We spent years waiting until we could afford the trips, only to reach a stage where coordinating three days feels impossible.
Did anyone else assume adult money would create freedom and then discover that time becomes the bigger problem?
