I have this friend who used to ask me the same thing every single day. "Aaj kya lena chahiye?" What should I buy today. And I never gave him a straight answer, not once. Not because I was hiding some secret, but because I genuinely don't believe in handing anyone a daily "buy this" call. That's not how any of this works.
He got tired of my non-answers. So he went and found a tip somewhere else, some third-hand suggestion floating around, and put actual money into it on nothing but that.
Three days later he was down 40%. Just like that.
He doesn't ask me anymore, which I suppose is one outcome. But here's the part that gets me. He hasn't stopped looking for tips. He's still out there, in some group or another, hunting for the next "aaj kya lena chahiye" answer from a stranger. The 40% taught him to stop asking me, but not to stop chasing tips. Wrong lesson entirely.
