My date asked me to venmo her for the perfume she wore

After our date she texted saying she had a great time.

Then another message arrived.

She said she had worn an expensive perfume “specifically for me” and asked if I could send her $15 toward it.

I genuinely thought it was a joke.

She sent her payment request.

With the note:

“Date prep expenses.”

I paid for dinner and drinks.

Apparently I also needed to cover fragrance depreciation 😭
