Second date at a nice restaurant.
Halfway through dinner she whispers, “Just go with it.”
Before I can ask what she means, she tells the waiter we just got engaged.
The waiter gets excited and congratulates us.
Ten minutes later they bring out a free dessert with a little candle.
She takes photos, posts the dessert, and eats half of it like this is completely normal.
I asked why she did that.
She said, “Free cake is free cake.”
Can't even argue with the economics, but I was apparently engaged for 12 minutes 😭
