This sounds fake, but I genuinely watched it happen.
She had already made a few jokes about wanting a “retired by 35” lifestyle.
Then while I was in the bathroom, apparently she asked our waiter if any celebrities or wealthy businessmen came there regularly.
The waiter told me later because he thought we were friends.
I asked her about it and she said:
“I'm just networking.”
On a date.
With me sitting there.
The confidence was almost inspirational 😭
