Dinner was actually going pretty well.
Then near the end she asks the waiter for a few things to go.
No problem.
Except she ordered three full meals, two appetizers, and dessert.
I jokingly asked if she was meal prepping.
She said, “No, my mom and brothers haven't eaten yet.”
Then the bill came.
She didn't even reach for her purse.
I sat there staring at four bags of takeaway food realizing I had accidentally sponsored family dinner 😭
