Two UAE-flagged tankers, al-Bahiya and Mombasa, were hit by Iranian cruise missiles while sitting in Omani territorial waters — not even the disputed zone. One Indian crew member aboard the Mombasa was killed, eight others wounded, according to the UAE Ministry of Defence. Iran's IRGC claimed separately it had "struck and disabled" two other tankers for using a "mined route" without navigation systems on — though it didn't name them.
