Market rate adjustment. Say "I want more money," my guy. It's shorter and we both know that's the sentence.
And the part that actually stings? I pay a broker 15k a year specifically so I don't have to have conversations like this. That's the whole pitch. That's what the fee is for. Yet here I am, phone in hand, getting a fake economics lecture from a landlord anyway.
So the broker got 15k, the landlord's getting 24k more a year, and I got a new vocabulary term. Everybody won except me.
