It got disconnected a while back. Now it just hits that flat automated line — the number you are trying to reach does not exist.
I still dial it sometimes. From a different phone, so it doesn't sit in my recent calls.
I know he won't pick up. I know it's a recording. But hearing a voice say something is still better than the silence I get everywhere else when I think about him.
