I had the same motorcycle for nearly 18 years and loved it more than I should admit. When my daughter got accepted into a course she really wanted, we were short on the first payment. I sold the bike quietly and told everyone I was getting too old to ride.

She still teases me about becoming cautious with age. I never told her because I didn't want her education to feel like a debt. Sometimes I see the same model on the road and instinctively look twice. I miss it, but I would make the same decision again.
