Every semester my aunt tells the whole family she "somehow managed" the fees again. She didn't manage anything. It's me. I send it from a second bank account so my name never sits next to the transfer.
My cousin thinks half of it comes from some scholarship. There's no scholarship. I made that up so he wouldn't feel like he owed anyone.
The weird part is I don't even want to be thanked. What actually gets to me is watching my aunt apologize every single time she has to ask family for anything, like needing help is some shameful thing she did. That's the part I want to fix. The money's easy. Her flinching every time isn't.
