So something random but oddly emotional happened yesterday.
I was traveling back home and booked a cab. As soon as I got in, I noticed a bouquet of flowers lying on the seat. At first, I thought they belonged to the driver, so I asked him about it.
He told me they were left behind by a girl who had taken the cab just before me.
Apparently, she didn’t want to keep them and told the driver to give them to the next passenger instead.
That kinda hit me.
I don’t know her story, but it made me wonder what must’ve happened. Maybe a bad date, maybe something didn’t go as planned… or maybe she just didn’t want the reminder anymore.
I ended up taking the flowers, but instead of feeling happy, I just felt a little sad for her.
Hope wherever she is, things get better for her ❤️
