Growing up, I was always told the same thing.

"Men should stay strong."

So even when things were difficult, I got into the habit of dealing with everything quietly.

A few months ago I had an extremely stressful week. Work wasn't going well, there were some family issues, and everything just piled up.

While talking to someone I trusted, I unexpectedly got emotional.

It wasn't dramatic. Just a few tears and a long conversation.

Later I started wondering if that changed how she saw me.

Women, if a man you cared about cried in front of you, would it change your opinion of him in any way?
