My wife wrote a resignation letter during a terrible week at work and left it printed near our computer. She was angry and exhausted. I knew she planned to submit it the next morning.
I moved it into a drawer. She couldn't find it, got delayed, and by afternoon her boss had called her into a meeting and resolved part of the issue. She stayed at the company and later got promoted. She thinks she misplaced the letter herself. I know things worked out, but I also know I interfered with a decision that was hers to make.
