I found out why my girlfriend suddenly started loving football For months she had zero interest in football. Couldn’t name a single player, complained whenever I watched a match. Then suddenly she started watching every weekend. Bought a jersey. Followed team pages. Started checking fixtures before I did. I thought this was amazing until yesterday when she casually asked, “Is number 17 playing today?” Number 17 is apparently a very attractive new signing. Mystery solved.
